This A-Designs Pacifica Stereo Microphone Preamp is BRAND-NEW, in its UNOPENED, FACTORY-SEALED BOX.  Since we bought it, it has been kept in a smoke-free, environmentally-controlled room, awaiting the construction of our studio.  We are only selling it to help raise funds for the studio.

 Instead of opening the box to take pictures, we decided to leave it sealed and pass the joy, of opening it, on to the buyer.  Here are photos of the Pacifica, from the A-Designs website.

                                           

The Pacifica is A-Design's tribute to the Quad Eight Pacifica recording console, considered one of the great classics, from the 1970's.  The recording console in a high-end 1970's studio was likely a Neve, API, or Quad Eight.  These companies set the standards for audio quality - with a unique sound firmly imprinted on the popular recordings of the era.  Many engineers firmly believe that the Quad eight Ventura, Coronado, and Pacifica consoles were the very best sounding of the big three.  Boston's "More Than a Feeling" and Pink Floyd's The Wall were mixed on a Quad Eight!

In designing the Pacifica, A-Designs' Peter Montessi and audio engineer Jon Erickson went beyond merely creating a clone.  They used their extensive knowledge of modern circuitry, to bring the preamps of the glory days to serve the present day.  As a result, the Pacifica has become one of the most highly-acclaimed microphone preamps, in pro audio.  It is a mainstay in recording studios, worldwide - from small home studios to the major recording studios.

The Pacifica is easily converted from 120V to 230V.  Instructions provided.

Terms of Sale

Shipping:  Within the U.S., $30 flat rate, by insured USPS Priority Mail; $50 flat rate, by insured USPS Express Mail.  Outside the U.S., $75, by USPS Express Mail International; all customs fees paid by buyer. If a different shipping method is desired, buyer pays actual cost of shipping and insurance.

Payment:  By wire transfer or PayPal e-Check.  PayPal Instant Payment is also accepted, as long as you split the PayPal fees with us.  Within the U.S., check or money order are also welcome, but will have to clear before we ship.

Packaging:  We will double-box the Pacifica.  We will, first, seal the Pacifica box in a plastic bag, then package it an outer shipping box, with styrofoam peanuts.

Return Policy:  We warranty this item to arrive as described, solely to buyers within the U.S. Insured, return shipping to be paid by the buyer.  Apart from this, no other warrantees apply, nor returns allowed. No returns on shipments outside the U.S.
